Like with most online multiplayer games, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer needs some balance adjustments now that it’s out in the wild. One of the most-requested changes for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer is in regards to the 725 shotgun, which many agree is overpowered in its current state. Infinity Ward has yet to come out and say that a 725 shotgun nerf is coming definitively, but the multiplayer co-design director has hinted as much....

Since launch, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare fans have had mixed feelings about some of the game’s multiplayer maps. One of the least popular maps by far is Piccadilly, with many fans bemoaning its sight lines and poor spawns. While Piccadilly in Modern Warfare remains one of the game’s least popular multiplayer maps, there is a new issue plaguing it that is sure to make it even less appealing to fans of the popular first-person shooter....

For the most part, shotguns are fairly weak in Warzone. Early on into the game’s lifespan, Infinity Ward dropped a patch that limited the damage a single shot could do. This cap is 204, and applies to all five primary shotguns, including the Origin-12. Since a fully armored Warzone player has 250 health (100 base health and 150 armor), shotguns are incapable of one-shotting enemies consistently in Warzone. This damage limitation leaves shotguns in a tough spot....

With the Call of Duty League officially underway and the second round of play coming to London this weekend, fans of the game will have the chance to catch all the action and exciting matchups the new league has promised up to this point. Clockwork Aquario, an unreleased arcade platformer from the ‘90s, will be released for Switch and PlayStation 4 this year (via Destructoid). This surprise comes from the combined efforts of physical retailer Strictly Limited Games and publisher ININ Games. The former toiled for three years to source the unfinished and unreleased code for Clockwork Aquario, or its original Japanese title, Tokeijikake no Aquario. Developed by Westone Bit Entertainment, the game was intended to deliver an unbelievable experience on the Sega System 18 hardware, to truly push the machine to its limits....

Today Aniplex released a new trailer of the upcoming NieR: Automata Ver1.1a anime, alongside gorgeous artwork. We get to see Commander White alongside her operators, and they certainly never looked this good. The YoRHa commander will be voiced by Chiaki Kano, who reprises her role from the video game. We also hear that Keiko Isobe and Meari Hatsumi will return as Operators 60 and 2010 respectively. DayZ developers Dean Hall and Brian Hicks have revealed that they are working on an upcoming, “massive” new survival game (via PCGamer). The studio is also seeking game developers to fulfil roles like props and environments artists and programmers to establish a “new AAA studio.” We’ll keep you updated as and when we get news about this upcoming game. Hall is the creator of the original Arma 2 mod. He was then recruited to Bohemia Interactive to develop the independenti title, and afterwards, departed the company to found his own studio....

The mind-bending, time-resetting Deathloop got a new story trailer during the Playstation Showcase, and it introduces us to the mystery of the main character Colt’s situation. With tons of new gameplay and intrigue, this trailer is Bethesda’s last hurrah before the game officially releases in a few days. We take control of Colt as he wakes up on a beach, with no memories of how he got there. With a message imploring Colt to “break the time loop,” our protagonist is sent on a violent adventure full of assassins trying to kill him left and right....
