Today during the Nintendo Direct, a remaster for the 1999 Playstation game Chrono Cross was announced. The remaster is called Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition, and it will be coming digitally to consoles and PC later this year. Chrono Cross is set in the same world as Chrono Trigger. The creative director on zombie survival title DayZ has announced he’s leaving Bohemia Interactive. Brian Hicks has been with the studio for five years now, though speaking in an update on DayZ’s website, he revealed that he feels the game has reached a point where he is ’no longer needed,’ having taken ‘more and more of a back seat’ on the game over the past year or so. He’s recently been pushing for other members of the team to take the game to the next level as it approaches a full release....

Kojima Productions’ weird walking game Death Stranding will be heading to PC on June 2, 2020. In Deathloop you lose everything at the start of the new morning or when you die thrice during a mission. As you progress through the game you acquire an ability that lets you retain them the next morning or even after death. Weapons, Slabs, and Trinkets can be kept for the next loops by infusing them. While this feature is neat, infusing isn’t free and requires you to spend Residuum which you find in the game....
Arkane has shown off nine minutes of Deathloop gameplay footage as previously promised, giving us a good gander at the time-twisting supernatural shooter coming in September. Destiny 2 will go through a myriad of changes October 1st when the Shadowkeep expansion launches as well as the free-to-play version of the game known as New Light. Developer Bungie has had very open communication with its players and has continued to detail new content coming to the game and how its systems will change. Earlier this week, Bungie said that it was delaying the planned Destiny 2 Prestige Raid for eight days, due to an exploit that allowed players to cheese the Raid boss, Calus. In a Destiny 2 blog post, the developer has confirmed that the Raid will be going live next week, but it’s yet to fully fix the exploit, which was the main reason for the delay in the first place. Bungie has been working on a fix, but it’s short-term solution doesn’t resolve the issue to its satisfaction....
Destiny 2’s Season of the Dawn is set to begin next week with a renewed focus on solar subclasses and oft-overlooked guns. The Season of the Undying is winding to a close. If you haven’t got your god-rolled Vex Offensive weapons or the seasonal Triumph, you’ve got a week to get ’em done. On December 10th, the season ends and will be replaced with a new dawn. Bungie released the first trailer for Season of the Dawn today and it shows us returning to Mercury to help out with Osiris’ time troubles....
