Developer Nightdive Studios has announced that its critically panned remaster of Westwood Studios’ classic point-and-click adventure Blade Runner will now include the well-recieved ScummVM version of the original game on Steam. Nightdive’s remaster was announced back in March 2020, but the project appeared to be on a permanent hiatus after the studio told Eurogamer it was struggling to overcome certain “obstacles”. It was a bit of a surprise, then, when Nightdive’s long-awaited Enhanced Edition of Blade Runner resurfaced earlier this month with a 23rd June release date, but perhaps less of a surprise, given its history, when the remaster launched to less-than-stellar reviews....

If you are a die hard fan of Cyberpunk 2077 then you must be aware of a melee weapon, Mantis Blades, which has been a talk of the town ever since it was featured in Cyberpunk 2077’s first ever teaser, which was released way back in 2013. There is no denying that Mantis Blades has an amazing stats and can be used to beat Sasquatch Aka Matilda K. Rose but players can further boost its attack speed by 35% with the Fast Rotor mod....

Welcome back to Cyberpunk 2077, a game transformed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. The prior ‘back-compat plus’ versions of the game yield to a brand-new rendition based on current-gen SDKs, allowing CD Projekt RED to fully tap into the capabilities of the new wave of consoles. This is a game with a troubled history and this new 1.5 upgrade delivers both 30fps ray tracing and an enhanced 60fps performance mode, combined with other current-gen improvements such as improved loading times - but how much of an upgrade do users actually get?...

Due to a combined mauling both by critics and audiences, the rebooted Hellboy will very likely not be granted a sequel. Neil Marshall’s film, which apparently went through some unpleasant times behind the scenes, starred Stranger Things‘ David Harbour as the new Red, but it didn’t do well enough at either the US domestic or global box office to get people talking about where the franchise would go next. In a new interview, Harbour was asked if his Hellboy had a future on the big screen, and his answer was predictably downbeat....

Just over half a year after closing its Bratislava studio, DayZ developer Bohemia Interactive is delivering a new update. Update 1.10 delivers quite a few changes for DayZ, which preceded the battle royale world we now live in. Believe it or not, the full version of DayZ only launched last year, as Bohemia continues to phase out the Arma mod version. This update adds new content, while working on rebalancing some of DayZ‘s core aspects....

A remastered version of side-scrolling survival horror Deadlight is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC on June 21, Deep Silver has announced. Developed collaboratively between Tequila Works and Abstraction Games, Deadlight: Director’s Cut features support for full 1080p visuals, improved controls and additional animations, plus a brand new ‘Survival Arena’ mode, and is described by Deep Silver as the “ultimate version”. The game will be available as a £15.99 download....

Bethesda has released a new trailer for upcoming time-twisting FPS Deathloop, which takes heavy inspiration from the James Bond movie intros of the 60s. In an accompanying post on the game’s official website, Art Director Sebastien Mitton talked about these inspirations and more that will be found in the full game, saying “There are a lot of 1930s/40s-era influences on Blackreef, with its bunkers, abandoned labs and rusty structures. We pulled from locations like Prypiatt in Ukraine, Hashima in Japan, and Pyramiden, which is an abandoned Soviet coal mining settlement on the Norwegian archipelago....

Deus Ex: Revision, a complete mod and overhaul of the 2000 classic, is now available as a free download, Caustic Creative has announced. The mod – which is designed to function with the Steam version of Deus Ex – features new environments, new music, and new world-building detail. Also thrown in are fanbase mods including Direct3D 9 rendering, high-resolution textures, high-detail 3D models, and alternative gameplay modes. In late 2019, a rumor started swirling that Capcom was set to announce two new games in the relatively near future. Capcom, since then, has only had one such major announcement - that being Resident Evil 3 Remake, which launches April 3. The second game, speculated to be a fighting game, went missing. At the time, it was dismissed as an incorrect leak, but there’s now evidence a Capcom fighting game announcement may be forthcoming....

The events of Diablo Immortal take between Diablo 2 and Diablo 3. As you progress into its monstrous world, you need to upgrade gear and weapons to fight the monsters. You can upgrade the Legendary gems that offer buffs to their attributes. While the maximum level for the upgrades for these gems is 10, you can upgrade them further by awakening them. As you awaken these gems, you unlock its Gem Resonance which offers further upgrades....

Meet Mike Begum, a.k.a Broly. Broly is a Super Street Fighter 4 tournament player. Yes, we know that you’ve most likely seen/heard of tournament players many times before, but Broly has something that sets him far apart from the average competitive fighter. Broly has a condition known as arthrogryposis, which leaves him with little to no ability to operate his hands and feet. His unique circumstance has not kept him from being one of the top Super Street Fighter 4 players in Texas....

This Disenchantment review contains spoilers. Disenchantment Episode 4 Maybe it’s a bit too Fry x Leela for its own good, but the Elfo and Bean relationship is one of the easiest for the writers to mine for character development. Luci is a comic relief jerk from Hell so there’s not much emotional depth to be found there, at least not at this stage in the series’ life, but bouncing Elfo and Bean off each other is an obvious way to explore the good and bad of both of those characters....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the latest in the Call of Duty series, and it is constantly experimenting with new and old things to shake up the series formula. There was a big update to Modern Warfare today that had many players chomping at the bit, expecting a certain announcement that has been a long time coming. They did not get it. The big development in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare that has players abuzz at the moment is a mysterious feature called Warzone, for which very little information has been officially revealed....

The next Call of Duty game seems to have somehow leaked onto the PlayStation Network, in the form of an alpha build (via VG247). PS4 Database, a tracking site which monitors the PlayStation Network, automatically created a new entry for a game titled “The Red Door.” Sounds like a P.T.-inspired affair, doesn’t it? Its content identification lets the cat out of the bag, though. It reads, “EP0002-CUSA20074_00-COD2020INTALPHA1.” If I had a beard, I would be stroking it right now....
