Destiny 2 has been around for a bit, but the constant updates and the release of expansions make it a great game to buy even now. Having regained its reputation as one of the best looter shooters available, the Bungie title has amassed a great player base. However, it could seem a bit complicated to newbies and, while gathering the best weapons seems simple enough as some great stuff comes to you via random drops, there are a few quests that could leave you with some pretty high-end loot....

Destiny 2‘s Season of Dawn tasks you with activating the various Obelisks in the system to aid Osiris. There are four these in various planets and one in the Tower. Destiny 2: Season of Dawn is ending. On March 10, the game’s universe and narrative will transition into the Season of the Worthy. Bungie is fixing to launch its newest expansion for Destiny 2 with The Witch Queen on February 22. To whet players’ appetites, the developer dropped a new trailer alongside some juicy tidbits that are sure to get people pumped to check out what the latest installment has in store for them. The Witch Queen is Destiny 2‘s piece of content for Year 5, following on from late 2020’s Beyond Light, and the previous year’s Shadowkeep....

Bungie has detailed some of the changes that are coming to Destiny 2. In its weekly blog post, or TWAB, the company explained some of the weapon balance changes players can expect, which includes buffing some of the game’s under-utilised weapon archetypes. For example, lightweight bows will get faster draw times as well as an increased “perfect draw” window to make things a bit easier for players. Meanwhile, scout rifles will now give 10 percent more damage against red bar PvE enemies than before....

Destiny 2 players have discovered yet another glitch that helps Guardians get extra damage. In the case of this most recent glitch, the trick helps players get bonus damage during the Garden of Salvation raid. It does require some setup and some mods, but the glitch itself is very useful for Destiny 2 players. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will get its first big update later today, featuring new multiplayer maps and modes. The patch will go live at 6pm, and will bring remade versions of Vacant and Shipment multiplayer maps—a smaller version of Shipment will be available to play in Gunfight, Modern Warfare’s two-versus-two mode. On top of that, Cranked, the mode which was introduced in Call of Duty: Ghosts, is coming to Modern Warfare....

Activision and Infinity Ward have announced one of the first new multiplayer modes coming to this year’s entry in the long running shooter series Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, ahead of a full multiplayer reveal next month. Entitled Gunfight, the mode is for 4 players, 2v2 and is a much smaller-scale close-combat mode. Maps are custom made – of which three have been revealed so far (King, Pine and Stack) – and they’re much smaller than normal, with everyone getting the same loadouts....

Dark Souls-inspired actioner Code Vein is apparently set to launch in July, according to the chaps at Gamereactor. Conan Exiles has been among the most beloved survival games on the market for five years, and some may wonder if a sequel is in the cards. During a livestream to introduce the new expansion “Age of Sorcery” that will come in Q3 this year, Lead Designer Dennis Douthett provided his personal answer to this question. Douthett added that this is “not a promise, just an observation.” Said observation came in the context that it’s not possible to post Conan Exiles into Unreal Engine 5, because there are too many custom features created specifically for the game on top of the Unreal Engine 4....
