Brighton-based developer Bytten Studio has unveiled Cassette Beasts, an open-world RPG coming to Xbox consoles, Nintendo Switch and PC. Set on a remote island called New Wirral, Cassette Beasts‘ twist on the Pokémon formula sees its cast record their creatures on cassette tapes. These tapes can then be used to fuse monster forms, remixing them into more powerful beasts. Any two of the game’s 120 monsters can be fused together in this way for over 14,000 possible combos....
