There’s a brand new trailer for Crysis 2 out now and it looks pretty fantastic. Showing off a much more complete build of the game, the trailer is chock full of enemies, shooting, and series protagonist, Nomad, executing powerslides to shoot at the invading alien enemy. Yes, the trailer does present more of the infantry-type aliens Nomad will encounter during the defense of New York City and all the different ways the player can dispatch them....
StudioMDHR’s Cuphead will not be coming to the PlayStation 4, but a sequel might. On NeoGAF, StudioMDHR discussed the game’s exclusivity, who owns the IP and what the immediate future holds for the highly-anticipated game. ‘Yes, this Cuphead game is exclusive to Xbox and PC (with Steam and Win10 versions at launch and a GoG release likely shortly after). There will likely be a Mac version down the road and possibly a Linux version beyond that (unless we lose our houses or whatever)....

Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed. Again. Yes, even after CD Projekt Red gave multiple promises to make its November 19 release date, the game has been pushed 21 days. Its new release date is December 10, tentatively. We’ll let you know if that works out. As per the norm, the announcement was made moments ago via the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account. CD Pojekt’s Adam Badowski and Marcin Iwiński began with the new release date and followed up with an apology....
Dark Souls 3 looks set for an E3 2015 reveal after publisher Bandai Namco slipped out an early Tweet with a link to the debut trailer (private). The director of Days Gone Jeff Ross has opened up on reports from late last week that a sequel to the open-world zombie adventure was indeed in the idea stage before his departure, but couldn’t confirm the fate of the project. Speaking to fellow former Sony boss and God of War creator David Jaffe on the latter’s livestreamed podcast (as transcribed by Video Games Chronicle) Ross said that development studio Sony Bend’s pitch included “the idea of a shared universe with co-op play” — and, interestingly enough, was something the team had considered for the first game....

This week at Gamescom, a lot of gameplay has been revealed for Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding, and though the character spotlights and gameplay footage help connected a few dots, it creates as many new questions. At its most basic level, Death Stranding is a third-person action game set in a world where humanity and civilization were torn apart by a number of cataclysmic events connected to mysterious entities called BTs. The main character, Sam Bridges, is a porter who travels from location to location delivering various packages and the occasional dead body....
Destiny 2: Season of the Worthy has a new public event called Seraph Towers and it’s available for all players. Blueberries and little lights don’t even need the season pass. Destiny 2: Shadowkeep‘s Halloween week kicks things off with the Festival of the Lost event. But, that’s not all. Guardians with the Shadowkeep expansion will also be able to check out the brand new dungeon, the Pit of Heresy. There is, however, one “attunement” quest that you must complete first. The quest is tied to the Altars of Sorrow public event which can reward you with the Blasphemer shotgun. We’ll look into these in our mini-guide....
The big draw to Destiny 2, along with its predecessor, that keeps players coming back every day is the endless string of challenges with the promise of loot. However, some fans have been disappointed to find that some of the older ways to gain some specific weapons have disappeared over the current lifetime of Destiny 2 and its earlier releases. One way that gear could be obtained way back during the original Destiny was through replaying strikes until strike-specific loot would drop as a reward for completing the challenge....
Destiny 3 is not happening for the time being, because Bungie wants to focus on supporting Destiny 2 (via GameSpot). Beyond Light, the newest expansion for the sci-fi shlooter, will arrive on September 22. Then, The Witch Queen will roll out in 2021, and Lightfall in 2022. I don’t envy Bungie right now, because it looks like it’s got its hands full bringing the game forward to the next generation and supporting it for the current generation and its community....
Any Diablo 3 news is good news, except for release dates that seem ages away. Well, no worries needed here because the reveal of the artisan and crafting system in Diablo 3 is definitely good news. At this year’s Gamescom, Blizzard delivered the skinny around the artisan system, and it’s a worth-while feature that will definitely compliment the game. Usually, when someone throws a grenade, something dies, but a new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare glitch causes the opposite to happen. As of this writing, players can revive themselves if they pick up and throw an enemy grenade. However, the new exploit doesn’t work in every game mode, as not all of them put players in a “downed” state. For those unaware, a downed state substitutes death in some game modes (like Special Ops)....
Activision has dug up a tweet from December 2014 in order to tease the – now probable – Call of Duty 4 remaster to ship alongside this year’s new Call of Duty. Carmageddon: Max Damage will release on PS4 and Xbox One on June 3, Stainless Games has announced. The game will be available both digitally and on-disc where it’ll be published by Sold Out Sales & Marketing, the same company behind the physical versions of The Escapists and Sniper Elite’s undead spin-off Zombie Army Trilogy. Both versions will cost £29.99. “Working with Sold Out to bring Carmageddon: Max Damage to retail is not only a significant new chapter in the history of the brand and studio, but vitally, enables us to unleash our motoring mayhem upon the console world, across both the physical and digital market simultaneously,” said Stainless Games’ publishing director Jason Garber....
