The joke stems from the original release of Crysis back in 2007, a game known for its heavy hardware taxation due to its visually stunning design, dense foliage, and lighting all thanks to Crytek-developed, CryEngine. To bring its more than decade-old classic into the modern era, but hints from Crysis‘ sleepy Twitter account are pointing to something new on the horizon....

During today’s Summer Game Fest, the ambitious developer chose to reveal a brief gameplay trailer that shows off one of the new bosses that Cuphead and friends will face off against in The Delicious Last Course. The boss in question goes by the name Mortimer Freeze, and observant players likely recognize him from the expansion’s previous trailers....

Now that the dust has settled from all the E3 2018 conferences some more information about the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 has been released by CD Project. First and foremost the game is an RPG but it also has shooter elements as you will be playing around with guns in this game. It’s still an open-world narrative driven RPG at its core but it is played in first-person except when driving or in cutsenes when it switches to third-person....

Cyberpunk 2077 studio CD Projekt Red has warned that it can’t guarantee its next-gen versions of the RPG will arrive this year. The comments were made to shareholders in the company’s latest H1 2021 results call. As transcribed by Video Games Chronicle, SVP of business development Michał Nowakowski said that while the new versions are still targeted for this year, the team is shying away from making any guarantees. “The target is to release the next-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077 late this year,” Nowakowski said....

Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red has touched on the inclusion of politics in video games, stating that they are just one of many subjects that can provoke strong emotions in players, and therefore ‘one shouldn’t stray from that’ when necessary. The studio’s comments come during a chat with the September 2018 issue of Official PlayStation Magazine UK, where Cyberpunk 2077 writer Stanislaw Swiecicki was quizzed on what he feels about the notion that video games shouldn’t broach the subject of politics....

Dark Souls 3 will launch across Europe in April 2016 on PS4, Xbox One and PC, Bandai Namco has announced. The date means that From Software’s latest action-RPG will arrive in the West one month after its Japanese debut on March 24. Some players will have the opportunity to play it way before then, however, in a Network Stress Test due to arrive on PS4 next month. Konami will launch Castlevania Anniversary Collection on PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on May 16, the company announced this afternoon. The bundle features eight titles from the classic vampire-dusting franchise, including Castlevania, Castlevania II: Belmont’s Revenge, Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest, Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, Super Castlevania IV, Castlevania: Bloodlines, Kid Dracula, and Castlevania the Adventure. 2K Games and Firaxis will soon release a package of new leaders for Sid Meier’s Civilization 6, and they’re introducing them with new trailers.
