Cyberpunk 2077 being developed by a Polish studio means that Polish game journalists can be the first to get some of the scoops. This is the latest one to be translated into English. Reddit user Arise 92 got the newest issue of Polish-language gaming magazine PSX Extreme. He or she was kind enough to summarize new details about Cyberpunk 2077 – in English, of course: Aldecados are a band of Nomads formed by farmers displaced by corporate activity — they made an appearance in Cyberpunk 2020....

Hardware company Nvidia seems to be working on a GPU for Cyberpunk 2077 (via IGN). Cyberpunk 2077 was meant to launch on April 16, but the company chose to delay the game by several months. “Right now, we are in “crunch mode,” however it’s not as bad as before,” said a developer. “In The Witcher 3 times, if the studio was messaged that we’re entering crunch everybody had to stay and work regardless of the fact if they had things to do… if we manage to do our stuff on time and it gets approved by QA we can leave after eight hours....

CD Projekt has today released patch 1.52 for Cyberpunk 2077. This is a bug-fixing update with no new content, unlike last month’s big release which also saw the game’s PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions finally become available. Still, there are dozens of tweaks here - including solutions to various technical problems. Save issues on PlayStation have been sorted and, on PS5, “wet roads will now be as reflective as on the PC version”....

The Dark Souls Trilogy is not coming to European territories, publisher Bandai Namco Games has announced. While the three-disc steelbook set is still heading to the US and Asia, Bamco clarified that yesterday’s announcement did not pertain to a European release of the bundle. Good news, DC Comics fans. Sony Online Entertainment has finally announced an official release timeframe for its superhero MMO, DC Universe Online. This title has been in the works for a couple of years now, and I was starting to wonder if it would actually release. Dean Ambrose gave his notice to WWE officials this weekend and his contract will expire shortly after WrestleMania, according to Wade Keller of The Pro Wrestling Torch. Keller cited three sources in his report. On Tuesday morning, PWInsider also reported Ambrose’s pending departure from WWE, noting that he turned down a multi-year contract that would have paid him seven figures. According to Keller, Ambrose told WWE management this weekend, including breaking the news to Vince McMahon directly; Ambrose was reportedly offered a new contract, with a raise, several weeks ago....

Blizzard has delayed the Chinese launch of Diablo Immortal, the free-to-play mobile and PC fantasy-R.P.G., citing various technical reasons. Activision has announced that it has banned 60,000 accounts of Call of Duty players for confirmed cases of using cheat software in Call of Duty: Warzone. Developer CD Projekt Red has announced an official Cyberpunk 2077 photography contest. Fans of the upcoming game can send in pictures that show a “cyberpunk vibe” for a chance to win prizes. The contest encourages fans to “capture the dark future all around you” using their photos. Sales of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt surpassed $50 million since 2018, and as a result, CD Projekt Red gets an 80 per cent share of subsequent sales. Given that the series enjoyed a rush of interest from the TV adaptation, it makes sense that there was a whopping 554 per cent increase in sales for physical editions of The Witcher 3 across all platforms....
