Bungie’s idea of turning Destiny 2 into an ever evolving world took its first step this week through the Vex Offensive seasonal mode. Players visiting Ikora in the Tower may have noticed that the area behind her now has scaffolding, cranes, and NPC’s involved in some sort of construction. While this is likely an event that will span the entire season, leading to a final battle with the Vex Mind, it’s a reminder that the Tower and game as a whole are continuing to evolve over time....

It seems like every other day Destiny 2 players discover that a gun in the game is bugged and now a new exotic has entered the fray. The only difference is the latest bugged exotic has been causing problems in Destiny 2 for a while now. Destiny 2 players have discovered that the Telesto exotic fusion rifle can give them free special ammo in large quantities. Don’t expect to see anything from DICE that isn’t Battlefield in the near future, the company has said. Doubling down on its commitment to the Battlefield franchise - and fixing the recent embattled Battlefield 2042 in particular - DICE has ruled out a return for any of its other franchises for now. Speaking to Eurogamer sister site GamesIndustry.biz, DICE’s recently-appointed general manager Rebecka Coutaz confirmed any project such as Mirror’s Edge was currently sat on the backburner....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players can buy a new playable operator, named Mace, from the store as part of a massive update that rolled out today. The character is a member of the Jackals Special Forces within the Allegiance that can be used in the Multiplayer and Special Ops modes. Mace is a former U.S. Ranger who wears a mask painted like a skull, similar to fan-favorite character Ghost recently returning from 2009’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and has exposed arms visibly “marked with traditional scars to honor his heritage” according to his background, which was released on the Activision Games Blog....

Fans have known that new content was in the pipeline for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare since before it launched, including all new operators players can use in the game’s multiplayer mode. Now, it appears that data for some of those new operators has been found in the PC version of Modern Warfare’s files, including some fan-favorite characters from throughout the series. As of right now, 13 new operators have been found in the game’s files, including Farah from Modern Warfare’s short but sweet campaign and what appears to be Simon “Ghost” Riley, of Modern Warfare 2 fame....
