Last night saw the launch of the Destiny 2 Prestige Raid, and it’s been beaten by Clan Redeem, who used the coil glitch to fight their way to victory. This wasn’t the glitch that Bungie had been watching out for, which means that Clan Redeem may have technically cheated, but they’re still the winners of the World First status, and beat their nearest rival by a 4 minute margin. Bungie had initially delayed the launch of the higher difficulty raid for a week, so that it could work on removing an exploit that stopped enemies from spawning during the final battle....
Destiny 2’s much-awaited holiday season event ‘The Dawning 2020’ has finally gone live and it will run until January 15, 2020. There are various activities in the event that tasks players to bake a variety of treats for other Destiny 2 characters. The recipes of treats need players to have specific ingredients that can be acquired through various ways during The Dawning 2020 event. One such ingredient is a Sharp Flavour....
Bungie has confirmed that Destiny 2’s long-awaited cross-play feature should finally be landing in 2021 in a development update from Assistant Game Director Joe Blackburn. In the latest Dev Update, Blackburn stated that the feature that will allow you to squad up with other Guardians across Xbox, PlayStation, Stadia and PC formats is one of the aims for next year, along with Transmog in Season 14, DDOS protection on consoles, two more strikes and the return of the Vault of Glass raid to the game....
Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is almost upon us - introducing what developer Bungie describes as the beginning of the end of the Light and Darkness saga. There is a lot to looking forward - the new Throne World destination, a Void 3.0 subclass revamp, a new raid, a Legendary campaign difficulty and much more. But there’s plenty disappearing, too - including Forsaken’s campaign, the Tangled Shore destination and the bulk of Year 4’s seasonal content - including the fan-favourite Presage and Harbinger missions....
In a conversation with IncGamers ex-Ensemble Studios’ employee Dusty Monk revealed the details of Project Titan, the Halo-themed MMO that Ensemble had teamed up with Bungie to develop. This Disenchantment review contains spoilers. Disenchantment Episode 10 I don’t watch many Netflix Originals, but as I understand it quite a lot of them end with cliffhangers. I’m not sure why this would be, if it’s a mandate handed down from Netflix HQ or something, that creators should raise the stakes high to close out every season and keep viewers chomping at the bit for more. Or maybe it’s down to the freedom of a TV production model where self-contained episodes have greatly diminished in necessity, so this attitude has extended to the seasons as well....
Following a relative period of secrecy, Infinity Ward has since been pretty vocal with new information and details for its highly anticipated multiplayer modes in the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Just yesterday, the studio released 24 minutes of pure gameplay that showed off five new maps as well as five different modes. With even more details to share, the developers took to Reddit to reveal a few more major gameplay features....
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players have been pining for additional custom character class slots since the game’s release. Unfortunately, developers have made it known that, without proper testing, this sort of change can result in a lot of bugs. The game has already been subject to a number of bugs which have been a huge complaint for players. Some of these are minor things, while others completely halt progression like the infamous Modern Warfare XP bug....
Capcom isn’t ready to throw in the towel with Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. The game received a ton of free updates after its release last year, but the company hasn’t spoken about what 2020 will bring. It was obvious something had to be coming, but Capcom was playing coy with fans. Next week, that is all set to change. In an announcement about an announcement, Capcom stated that it will be discussing 2020’s roadmap for Iceborne on January 19, 2020....
November 7 marks N7 Day in celebration of the Mass Effect series. For those who don’t know, N7 is an Alliance military code within the Mass Effect universe that marks a unit of the special forces. Although the series has been on hiatus for a couple of years, Mass Effect remains on the forefront of BioWare fans’ minds following the controversial Mass Effect: Andromeda. Apparently, the series is on the minds of BioWare as well, as project director Casey Hudson tweeted some Mass Effect concept art hinting at unused ideas and locales....
PHOGS!, a puzzle game with a duo of noodly dogs in a pastelised fantasy world, has been delayed until late 2020 (via Gematsu). Developer Bit Loom Games and publisher Coatsink explained that the decision was borne of complications arising from the current coronavirus crisis. PHOGS! is not the only game that has been affected by unforeseen challenges—the developers of Ninjala, Minecraft Dungeons, and Wasteland 3 all moved their release dates to reflect these uncertain times....
It is hard to believe there was high demand for another entry in Ubisoft’s Call of Juarez series. The two previous games, while playable, didn’t exactly fly off the shelves. Yet despite average reviews and lackluster sales, Ubisoft is set to release the third entry in the series this summer. Call of Juarez: The Cartel could be the first example of a game that has more people wanting to ban it than wanting to buy it....
Cloud9 has come back to competitive Dota 2 with a full roster. The announcement further shocked the community with the reveal of its new players. Rolen “skem” Ong, Jia Hao “vtFaded” Cheng, Rasmus “MISERY” Filipsen, Francis “FLee” Lee, and Johan “pieliedie” Åström are the new faces of Cloud9’s Dota 2 branching roster. “Cloud9 is off cooldown” and will start playing in the South East Asia region but will represent the North American region at future events....

In response to J.K. Rowling’s decision to post further views about transgender people on her Twitter account during Pride Month, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has been moved to publicly oppose the author’s comments. “I realize that certain press outlets will probably want to paint this as in-fighting between J.K. Rowling and myself, but that is really not what this is about, nor is it what’s important right now,” Radcliffe wrote in an essay posted on The Trevor Project’s website....

Zombie survival game DayZ has had its application for classification in Australia rejected, due to its content being considered “against the standards of morality.” The title has been refused a classification on all platforms, meaning Australians won’t be able to play it anytime soon, despite it previously being classified as MA 15+. A post on the Australian Classification Website shows that the game was submitted by Five Star Games Pty Ltd and has been marked as refused classification....
