Darksiders Genesis takes players back to the post-apocalyptic world full of angels and demons fighting each other in an attempt to take over the world. In this spin-off, two Horsemen of Apocalypse, War and Strife team up to stop the forces of Hell led by Lucifer. Players can switch between either horseman when playing single-player mode, or have one of their friends control one character in co-op mode. Each horseman offers a different playstyle; War excels at melee combat while Strife is a sharpshooter with a plethora of ranged attacks....

Bungie has unveiled the big Year 4 expansion for Destiny 2. It’s called Beyond Light and will see players learn more about the Darkness and even allow Guardians to wield a Dark ability for the first time called Stasis. “Guardians will wield this new elemental power alongside Arc, Solar, and Void to summon epic supers and control the battlefield,” Bungie said in a press release. “Titans, Warlocks and Hunters will each use Stasis in a different way....

Destiny 2’s Dawning 2019 event has arrived, bringing holiday cheer to the Tower along with the smell of fresh-baked cookies. Leading the festivities is returning holiday vendor Eva Levante. Eva wants players to bake cakes and cookies for all their Destiny NPC friends, and provides the oven to do it in. While the baking itself may be easy enough, tracking down the unusual ingredients is less so. The ingredients then have to be combined in a specific way to make each of the many NPCs’ favorite treats....

The latest batch of weekly Strikes and Prison of Elders challenges have been released. Following the latest server refresh, players can now take on the Nexus in the weekly Heroic Strike, which only has the Grounded modifier active. Meanwhile, this week’s Nightfall is a tough one, with the Will of Crota at level 32 and Angry, Void Burn and Juggler all active. Meanwhile, the Prison of Elders sees new arenas at levels 32 (Cult of the Worm) and level 34 (Broken Legion) with the latter of course offering Etheric Light to any teams that can successfully clean out the lockups of enemies....

Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition on the Nintendo Switch has a unique feature that lets the player change Styles on the go (via Siliconera). Producer Matt Walker teased that the Switch edition of the game would be getting special mechanics and add-ons to ensure it stands apart from the other versions. This is par for the course for lots of Switch ports, like Overwatch’s Joy-Con aiming, and Resident Evil 5 and 6’s motion controls....

Diablo Immortal will launch on 2nd June for both mobile platforms and via an open beta on PC, Blizzard has announced. Word of a Windows version was unexpected - but footage debuted in the release date reveal stream, below. Digimon cannot be accused of endlessly rehashing the same formula. The franchise has produced turn-based RPGs, monster taming RPGs, fighters, and card games. The Digimon World series alone swaps genres like they are going out of fashion, and the upcoming Digimon Survive is no exception. Blending survival and strategy elements, Bandai Namco’s RPG looks set to be unlike anything else associated with the Digimon gaming series. Even if that proves to be the case, that does not mean the franchise’s previous releases hold nothing of value....

Another leak has arrived to join the many currently debating the release date of Call of Duty Modern Warfare’s upcoming battle royal mode, Warzone, but this one comes from a very reliable source. Like the others, however, it favors the idea of a release happening in early March. The two current dates running around are March 3 and March 10 because they both fall on Tuesday’s, which is when Infinity Ward usually updates Modern Warfare with new seasonal content....
