Capcom has released its financial results for the first half of 2018, and has revealed the growth of its net profits despite the closure of Capcom Vancouver and the game it was working on. Capcom’s Digital Contents division has seen a 70% increase in H1 revenue, and the company’s overall net profit rose 97% – up to ¥6.8 billion – because of the success of several titles. This has raised expectations for its two upcoming releases, Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil 2....

Before I started reviewing headsets professionally, I used a pair of wired headphones from Corsair called the Void Pro. In between testing dozens of new headsets, I always find myself returning to the comfort and reliability of the Void Pros because I love the way they sound, the way they fit, and the simple design. THQ Nordic has revealed that Darksiders 3 will last players on average around 15 hours. Speaking with WCCFTech ahead of the game’s launch next month, the publisher’s business & product development director, Reinhard Pollice, confirmed that the game is similar in length to the first Darksiders. ‘Playtime is always a tricky question as it depends on numerous factors. On average, we would say somewhere around 15-hours-plus, which is similar to the first Darksiders,’ said Pollice....

Darksiders Genesis is an upcoming top-down action game similar to Diablo game, published by THQ Nordic and developed by Airship Syndicate. Darksiders Genesis will give players the opportunity to play as War or Strife in single or co-op mode, showcasing the events of the series before Lucifer starts to tamper with the balance of Hell and Heaven. Former wrestling sensation Dave Bautista has said his dream gig would be to portray the muscle-bound Marcus Fenix in the upcoming Gears of War movie. Speaking in a Q&A with fans while visiting GameSpot Universe, Bautista was quizzed on what his ideal film role would be, to which he made it clear that he’s been keeping an eye on the Universal Pictures-backed action flick for a while now. Bautista, who plays Drax in Marvel’s irreverent superhero movie franchise Guardians of the Galaxy, revealed he’s been ‘pursuing Gears of War for years now,’ and that ‘Marcus Fenix is absolutely a dream role for me....
