Cyberpunk 2077 received its latest update today via patch 1.5, coming to next-gen consoles and PC, as well as PS4 and Xbox One. The patch (originally planned to release last year), addresses various technical issues while also adding in new weapons, apartments, and balancing improvements to the game. Cyberpunk 2077 had a pretty rough time over the last year or so, but CD Projekt Red has at last managed to add in more features that were promised before the game’s launch....

The PC servers for the Dark Souls games have now been offline for over 100 days. Back in January, we reported a security issue with the online multiplayer functionality of FromSoftware’s Souls games that would allow invaders to run code on someone else’s PC without permission. Publisher Bandai Namco shut down the servers, meaning PC players are unable to play the games online - a key part of the experience through invasions, summoning, and messages....

Free-to-play MOBA Dead Island Epidemic is closing down next month, Deep Silver has announced. The game’s servers will remain live until October 15, after which the game will be gone for good. If you’ve still got any currency left, Deep Silver will be offering a “very large discount on all characters and boosts to give everyone a chance to spend any remaining currency on characters and items you may have wanted to try before, but never did”....

Dead Rising: Case Zero and Dead Rising: Case West will not be included in the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One remasters, Capcom has confirmed. The publisher confirmed the news on Twitter, where it stated that there are “no plans for those at this point”. Case Zero and Cast West originally launched as downloadable games either side of Dead Rising 2’s release, with Case Zero leading into the events of the sequel, and Case West set following the game’s conclusion....

The free-to-play portion of Destiny 2 is called “A New Light,” and it gets players started off on the right foot with a new introductory quest and tutorial. One of the other things that A New Light brings is a new emphasis on Bungie Rewards....

In Destiny 2: Joker’s Wild, you’ll be playing a lot of Gambit Prime to obtain your synths and complete some bounties. However, the other half of that gameplay loop will take you to The Reckoning. One of the activities that’ll keep you grinding throughout Destiny 2‘s Season of Dawn are the various Obelisks scattered around the system. We’ve explained the basic mechanics in our previous Obelisks guide, but those are just for the first four. There’s one more that you can unlock — the Tower Obelisk — thanks to the arrival of Saint-14. First, you’ll have to meet Saint-14 in the Tower hangar and complete the “Cornerstone” bounty....

It was another very informative week for Destiny 2 fans, with Bungie’s weekly blog post taking an in depth look at the many upcoming weapon changes in Shadowkeep, which will essentially make most weapon types even stronger. The biggest benefactors of these buffs are underused weapons like scout rifles, sidearms, and auto rifles, which should help increase their popularity once again. These changes also extend to many exotic weapons that have long since fallen by the wayside....

In a not so subtle dig at the 4K performance of the Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro, Nvidia have shown off a first look at Destiny 2 PC footage running at 4K and 60FPS. Destiny 2 is coming to PC after the launch of the console versions later on this year. The console launch has in the meantime moved forward two days to September 6. The PC version launches on October 24....

Bungie has announced that it will be delaying this year’s Destiny 2 expansion, entitled The Witch Queen, into early next year. In the studio’s latest update to the community, Assistant Game Director Joe Blackburn revealed that, following the successful launch of Destiny 2: Beyond Light late last year, the team looked at its plans to finish off the current story arc which kicked off in that expansion with the next two chapters The Witch Queen and Lightfall and “made the difficult but important decision to move its release to early 2022; we also realized we needed to add an additional unannounced chapter after Lightfall to fully complete our first saga of Destiny....

Destiny Community Manager dmg04 is taking some time off ahead of Shadowkeep’s launch to recover fully from a heart issue. The Bungie employee is well-known and well-liked among Destiny players and it appears that he has spent very little time away from the Destiny project over the years. Last April, he tweeted a photo of himself lying in a hospital bed along with the revelation that he had undergone a procedure to correct an abnormal heartbeat....

Destiny’s Iron Banner will finally make a return on April 28 with the weekly server refresh, Bungie has announced. Many expected the Iron Banner to return sooner, but Bungie has said the reason for the delay is to give players time to adjust to the changes in to the Crucible following the recent 1.1.2 update. Players should also note that due to a navigation bug, the Iron Banner won’t be visible in the Tower or the Crucible menu, but will have to be accessed via the main Director Interface....

THQ Nordic promised to share some surprises ahead of E3 2019, and they certainly made good on that promise with the reveal of the long-awaited Destroy All Humans! remake. Like many of the recent THQ Nordic announcements, understanding the appeal of this particular project requires a bit of history. First released in 2005, Destroy All Humans! allowed players to control an alien invader in an open-world environment heavily inspired by 50s sci-fi Americana....

Even though Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is another a big hit for Activision, the game seemingly has a never ending list of bugs, glitches and exploits impacting the online experience. Over the past couple of months, players have been up against all sorts of issues like XP progression problems, map exploits, player collision issues, and more. While the studio continues to work on these issues, new ones are getting reported including a stealth killing bush....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2 just went live on February 11, and it brought with it a massive file size and plenty of new content for fans to sink their teeth into. But despite the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2 update’s massive file size, it was actually missing some of the content promised in the original road map. Activision has since released a new Modern Warfare Season 2 road map that more accurately reflects what is available now and what is coming later on....

Call of Duty Mobile feels like a celebration of both the Black-Ops and Modern Warfare series, highlighting some of the greatest maps, weapons, and gameplay from those games. It is incredibly detailed for a mobile game and features smooth gameplay. Simply put, Call of Duty Mobile is great addition to the franchise and a big step forward for mobile gaming. The graphics are incredible for a mobile game, and honestly, doesn’t feel like much of a compromise when compared to playing on an Xbox or a PS4....

The Callisto Protocol publisher Krafton has confirmed a 60 FPS performance mode for the game, just days after Gotham Knights hit the headlines for not having one on consoles. Responding last night to some confusion over the game’s release date, the official Callisto Protocol account on Twitter reconfirmed the space survival horror’s 2nd December launch. “And yes, we’ll have a 60 FPS performance mode,” the tweet added. The news Gotham Knights will be locked to 30 FPS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S raised eyebrows earlier this week - coming just days before its arrival this Friday....

Once CD Projekt Red is done with Cyberpunk 2077, development will commence on a new The Witcher title (via Gematsu). The revelation came in a conversation with a group of journalists, but, to be honest, it stretches the dictionary definition of a “revelation”. The studio garnered significant commercial and critical success for its first three Witcher games, and the series has sold over 40 million copies worldwide, with Wild Hunt accounting for over half of that figure....

Clash Royale has released another list of balance changes centered around a few cards typically used in the meta. According to the official announcement, three cards will be receiving buffs while the two mentioned previously will be nerfed.
