Vex Offensive is Destiny 2’s newest mode, which will only be around during the current Season of the Undying. Vex Offensive is a 6-player matchmade activity that involves killing waves upon waves of Vex and a boss at the end. The activity is split into three sections with each one ending in a chest. With those three chests, which always drop at least one Legendary armor or weapon from Vex Offensive, plus quests from Ikora Rey that guarantee a drop of a particular weapon, Destiny 2 players can easily farm the activity for specific weapons they are looking for....

A common complaint among Destiny 2 fans is that developer Bungie does not seem like it is taking their feedback, with aspects fans do not enjoy carrying across multiple seasons before an actual change is made. Whether it is something fans do not want that endures or something they really do want in the game that takes forever to show up, change can often feel extremely slow. In a recent detailed commentary about Destiny 2, franchise director Luke Smith addressed this complaint and explained why it can take time for changes to be made to the game....

Destiny 2 players will have to wait until later in January to get their hands on the weapon, but one player has shown off some gameplay of the new exotic Bastion. This fusion rifle is set to join the Destiny 2 world as part of an exotic weapon quest that will go live on January 28th. Reddit user SmartieStyle shared a brief clip of them using Bastion while at a Destiny community event in the Netherlands....

The Destroy All Humans! remake of the 2005 game won’t be out until next year. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t spend an ungodly amount of money for early. Wii U’s ‘larger-than-life military thriller’ Devil’s Third is coming to the UK on August 28, Nintendo has announced, weeks after its Japanese debut on August 4. Created by Ninja Gaiden designer Tomonobu Itagaki, Devil’s Third puts players in control of a former mercenary “let loose from his incarceration to right the wrongs of his past and take down a shadowy terrorist group he once belonged to”. The third-person game offers both single-player and multiplayer modes, with the latter tasking players with forming online alliances to reclaim the US, or going it alone to attack other players’ bases....

A Call of Duty dev has likely left fans teeming with excitement following what appears to be a Modern Warfare 4 tease. The past day or so has been quite lively for the COD community with, not just one, but two fresh leaks having surfaced. Robert Bowling, who worked as the community manager for Activision when the previous Modern Warfare titles were released, has dropped some cryptic tweets which suggest that the title’s fourth installment is nearing release....

Capcom has remained relatively quiet regarding news of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, the upcoming expansion for the latest in the company’s wildly popular Monster Hunter franchise. So far, Capcom has only put out a handful of teaser trailers and extra bits of information about the expansion’s various aspects, such as the new and returning monsters. Considering that the PC version of the base Monster Hunter Rise game will finally come out next month, however, it would make sense for Capcom to unveil more substantial news about Sunbreak soon afterward....

Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red has suspended sales of its games to Russia & Belarus due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The company said both digital sales and physical stock deliveries would cease in the regions until further notice. The studio said it’d work with its distribution partners to take the measures needed to do so. This includes the entire The Witcher series and Cyberpunk 2077. It also includes all games sold on its own GOG platform for the PC....

With how stat focused the modern world has become, it’s no surprise that modern consoles have started counting the hours we spend playing games. In 1993, Kevin Smith made a movie. Clerks was shot in black and white over the course of three weeks, at night, in the convenience store where Smith worked during the day, on a shoestring budget of $27,575. Control is one of my favorite games in recent years. I love the story, level design, and gameplay. Criterion, the studio behind Burnout and some of the more recent Need for Speed titles, actually had a hand in the creation of Star Wars: Battlefront. A Tweet from the studio on Friday indicated it had been involved in the multiplayer title. “Which development team could possibly have the expertise to put such speed into the Battlefront speeder bikes..? ;-)” read the Tweet. A check of the Battlefront credits confirmed that Criterion had indeed worked on the spectacular shooter....
