The final assault against the Vex has finally arrived, letting players enter various timelines to take down the Undying Mind once and for all. However, for all the hype and lead up, Destiny 2 players have found the new Vex Offensive mode to be underwhelming. The mode is mostly similar to how it was earlier in this season, with the only difference being the Undying Mind as the final boss. Shockingly, even the gameplay during this fight features the same mechanics, and the environment and loot pool hasn’t changed at all either....

The future of Let’s Plays might be in virtual reality. One dedicated Destiny 2 fan recently unveiled his virtual recreation of the game’s Moon Cave levels, with different areas marked for item locations and in-game events of note, like boss fights. Destiny 2 fans are likely all too familiar with the grind to find new weapon parts and various exotics to continue their campaigns. Completionists might even seek out the elusive Jade Rabbits, which can provide players with some experience points if they are given rice cakes....

David Dague, communications director at Bungie, has moved to quell fears that Destiny’s dedicated PvP offering, The Crucible, is getting the boot. In short? It’s not going anywhere. Speculation on the future of the Crucible, which sees Guardians going head-to-head in all manner of different modes, among which includes the tough-as-nails Iron Banner, was put into question this week after a Forbes article on the subject, plus a number of departures from Bungie....

Devil’s Third has failed to crack the entire Top 40 Video Games Chart after launching in the UK last week, instead landing at No.8 in the single-formats Wii U chart – just one place ahead of 2012 launch title FIFA 13. Wii U exclusives Splatoon, Mario Kart 8, Yoshi’s Woolly World, Super Smash Bros and Mario Party 10 each managed to sell more copies on the console than Devil’s Third last week, as did Skate 3, which launched on Xbox 360 and PS3 over 5 years ago....

Diablo II’s Necromancer is back in Diablo III as a faster, more aggressive master of the dead. First created in Diablo II, the Necromancer was a much-beloved character class for a totally different play experience. While most of the classes in Diablo II were considered fairly standard in the hack-n-slash genre (melee tanks, ranged bow masters, etc.) the Necromancer was something completely different. He was a methodical, creeping death that swept through the map with an army of undead at his back, the consummate commander who had to plan his every move to achieve success....

Patch 2.6.7 is now live, and Blizzard has revealed details around the upcoming Diablo 3 Season 19. This will be the Season of Eternal Conflict, which will focus on killstreaks to provide an ever-increasing buff to fight against the forces of hell. Blizzard is also making good on its commitment to roll out new class sets, beginning this season with the Crusader and Monk. The effect for this season, known as Pandemonium, will provide a stacking buff that will remain if you hit or kill a monster within the last 5 seconds....

However, dataminers have sifted through the game’s files and have discovered the full list of game modes for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game mode list includes a whopping 34 game modes, some of which have Hardcore variants....

After months of hype and teasing, Call of Duty: Warzone is finally here. The sheer volume of leaks that have preceded the new Battle Royale meant that the announcement is hardly surprising, but what is surprising is that the game is not actually a part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season Four introduced a range of new content. New maps, weapons, and Zombies content debuted for players to enjoy. Capcom is teasing some kind of announcement or reveal this coming Sunday by way of a mysterious countdown website. The Capcom Countdown timer website went up in the early hours of Monday morning. It appears to be counting down to a reveal, set to take place on Sunday, February 20 at around 6am UK time. There’s no other details to go on, so we’re left to speculate as to what the mysterious clock is for....

CD Projekt Red has announced a partnership with Digital Scapes, a studio known for creating multiplayer modes in some popular games. According to the press release, Digital Scapes will work with the Witcher studio on “creating and optimizing technological solutions for use in the development of Cyberpunk 2077.” But what exactly does this fancy babble all mean? Presumably, the cooperation exists to have Digital Scapes focus on creating multiplayer components for Cyberpunk 2077....

We still have a long way to go before Cyberpunk 2077 is in our greedy little hands. Yesterday, however, we received some promising news about its development. During an interview with Engadget, CD Projekt RED producer Richard Borzymowski said the game has reached a huge goal — it can now be played from start to finish. That’s right, after a whopping six years in development, Cyberpunk 2077‘s entire story finally exists in playable form....

There are few things that have perplexed me more over the last 20 years than the fact that Chrono Cross has been stuck on the PlayStation since release. Chrono Trigger has gotten ports. Every Final Fantasy under the sun has gotten a port or two. Pretty much everybody was getting some love, save for Serge, Kid, and the rest of the game’s enormous cast. But the time has finally come for the game to become available to people outside of Sony’s paper mache powerhouse....

EA has announced that Command & Conquer is coming back. Command & Conquer: Rivals will be available on iOS and Android later this year, it was revealed at EA’s E3 2018 event. The publisher revealed the game has been designed specifically for mobile, and will focus on 1-v-1 match-ups.
