Destiny 2 is drastically changing the way power progression works in the game with the launch of this fall’s Shadowkeep expansion, including making it so there is no Power level cap for the season. Depending how much time players are willing to put into Destiny 2, they could theoretically infinitely increase in Power level. While there will be a traditional level cap in Shadowkeep and Season of the Undying, the new Seasonal Artifact eliminates the level cap altogether by allowing players to get a Power Bonus by leveling up that Artifact....

New raids in Destiny 2 always bring out major competition between players racing for the World’s First title, with the newest one coming in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep posed to continue that tradition with the first-ever weekend race. In an effort to give Destiny 2 players more to grind for, Bungie will be adding two Seasonal Rewards into the loot pool for Vex Offensive. The Pluperfect auto rifle and the Temporal Clause heavy machine gun can now drop from the Season 8 unique activity. Bungie revealed the change in its latest This Week at Bungie post, explaining that the Destiny 2 developers wanted to “give players more agency in earning random rolls” for these two weapons....

An official Detroit: Become Human manga series is launching on 22nd July in Japan. Titled as Detroit: Become Human Tokyo Stories, the comic will follow the story of Japan’s own android revolution. For the first time since August 2021, China’s video games regulator has approved the publishing licences of 45 international games, including Pokemon Unite, Don’t Starve, and Valorant. As well as the games developed by studios outside of China, 84 domestic games have also been given the green light in China, which Reuters calls “the world’s largest gaming market”. Chinese megacorps like Tencent and NetEase are amongst those receiving approval, with the former reportedly securing licences for six of its games in December....
