Dark Souls 3’s first DLC pack is due to release in autumn, Bandai Namco has confirmed, with a second pack due to arrive at a later date. While Namco has yet to announce specific details on what each pack will include, it previously promised new bosses, enemies, weapons and armour, as well as new locations to explore. Both DLCs are included with the game’s £19.99 Season Pass, although individual prices have yet to be confirmed....
David Cage has responded to allegations of unhealthy studio culture and inappropriate behaviour at Quantic Dream, which he previously described as a “smear campaign”. Published in this month’s Edge Magazine, Cage discusses in depth the company culture of the studio and denies a lack of humility in its response to allegations. “I don’t think we had an aggressive attitude,” he said. “When you’re accused of things that go against everything you believe in, everything you’ve done in your life, it hurts....
Day of the Dead, a landmark film in the zombie genre, is set to rise again as a Syfy television series. Syfy, the NBCUniversal cable channel, has made a 10-episode series order for Day of the Dead, which will serve as a serial adaptation inspired by zombie genre inventor George A. Romero, specifically the 1985 third entry in his Night of the Living Dead film franchise. A production of Cartel Entertainment, the series will have Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas as writers/showrunners....
Sony Bend has polished off a new update for Days Gone, ironing out a number of technical issues with the open-world Freaker-’em-up. Days Gone was in pretty good shape at launch, although there were a couple of notable issues with the game, including a crashing bug and frame rate drops. These have both been fixed in the patch, which also introduces various ‘performance and stability improvements.’ Other areas tackled include stuttering and lag, glitches, and minor bug fixes and changes....
For the next week, Destiny 2 will be transformed into a Valentine-themed heart fest called Crimson Days. Once the Destiny 2 servers are back up from emergency maintenance, the event runs from February 11th to the 18th to celebrate the holiday with confectioneries, epics, and other rewards. In order to get all the rewards, players will have to collect candies called “Confectionery Hearts” to exchange for loot. Rewards for the Event Players should log in once the servers are back up to start up the Crimson Days events, as well as grab their free Destiny 2 Twitch Prime Loot for the month if they haven’t....
Bungie has revealed a new trailer for Destiny 2’s Solstice of Heroes event, which offers Guardians a chance to sink their teeth into a fresh batch of challenges ahead of the launch of Forsaken in September. One of the biggest attractions of Solstice of Heroes is the chance to get your hands on some new 400-power armour, with the event taking place from July 31 – August 28. You’ll also be taking part in a bunch of new challenges, including revamped story missions to mark the fall of the City to the Red Legion at the beginning of Destiny 2’s campaign....

For the past year, Capcom has been releasing titles from the original Devil May Cry trilogy on the Nintendo Switch, with the final one set to be Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition. Both Devil May Cry 1 and Devil May Cry 2 have been ported to the Switch, and the third installment will come out next month. The game’s release coincides with the inauguration of a new Capcom Store in Japan, where fans will find unique Devil May Cry tie-in items....

Bethesda’s top selling franchise is set to continue with Dishonored 2 which was officially announced back in June 2015. The game is being developed by Arkane and published by Bethesda. Setting It appears that Dishonored 2 will be largely set in Karnaca, the capital city of Serkonos “a major metropolis where cultures and customs from all over the Empire are integrated into daily life.” Serkonos is something of a tourist destination for the wealthy in Dishonored’s universe....
Capcom hasn’t released a new Dino Crisis game since the poorly-received Dino Crisis 3 in 2003, but fans have been holding out hope for a revival. Capcom still hasn’t announced anything official about bringing Dino Crisis back, but it has recently renewed the trademark for the franchise, giving fans hope that they may see the dinosaur survival-horror franchise eventually come back from the dead. Rumors have persisted for years that Capcom is making a new Dino Crisis game, only for nothing to materialize....

Choo Choo Charles on PC As someone who isn’t a huge fan of Spiders or horror games, I was a little hesitant to jump into Choo Choo Charles, especially since I hadn’t done my laundry yet and was fresh out of underwear. Thankfully, as it turns out, the game really wasn’t scary at all. In fact, the most terrifying thing about it was the gameplay, and not in the way you’d hope....
Dungeon Defenders Awakened for PC and Switch will be delayed to the second quarter of 2020, as announced by developer Chromatic Games (via Nintendo Life). This delay also means that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players won’t be hanging around while the PC and Switch players live it large in the land of Etheria. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release is targeting the third quarter of 2020, and so the community will be much more cohesive because of the new release window for PC and Switch....

Well, today is not the day to find out as the publisher has announced Cities: Skylines’ upcoming Airports expansion - which comes to Xbox, PlayStation, and PC on 25th January - will be accompanied by a four-strong batch of supporting paid DLC. Up first is a new Content Creator Map Pack, costing £3.99/€4.99/$4.99 USD and introducing eight new terrain maps created by Sanctum Gamer - as featured in the announcement trailer....
Civilization 6’s Ethiopia DLC will take the turn-based strategy game for a spin, adding fanatical old god zealots and vampire units (via PC Gamer). Before we get to that, though, the core of the DLC is the new civilization. Ethiopia is primarily interested in diplomacy, and will gain Faith from international trade routes. Also included are new buildings and districts like the consulate building which earns the player influence while lowering enemy spy levels, and the chancery building which gives the player’s civ additional Science when capturing or eliminating an enemy spy....
