Days Gone is coming to PC and a whole new section of gamers can enjoy this survival horror game. Antony Johnston, one of the writers of Dead Space, suggested that people should tune into the PlayStation 5 event on June 11 for a reveal of his latest project (via Game Informer). The project has been in development for almost two years, he said, and that it’s a “big” game. Now, “big” could be interpreted in different ways. Of course, working on a game for the next generation of hardware is a “big” achievement, so hats off to Johnston....
As of yesterday, confused gamers worldwide were finally able to find out just what the hell Death Stranding is about. Maybe? I haven’t played the “Norman Reedus with a baby fetus” delivery sim yet. But it is now available to play on consoles. The game is heading to PC during the summer next year. Today, you can pre-purchase the game on the Epic Games Store and Steam. And something else: the game will not be a timed Epic Game Store exclusive....
Aniplex announced today via press release that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles is getting a Nintendo Switch port for the Japanese market. The port will release on June 9, 2022, in Japan, and for the moment a western release in North America and Europe has not been announced, but Sega Asia also has confirmed a launch for that region with the same date as Japan. The Switch version will come with all the playable demons (Rui, Akaza, Susamaru, Yahaba, Yushiro, and Tamayo) released with post-launch updates on other platforms....
At today’s Sony State of Play livestream, we saw a plethora of third-party games heading to the PlayStation family and, of course, PC. Sega had two offerings to show today, one being the follow-up to the Yakuza spin-off Judgment, called Lost Judgment. The other is the first game based on the mega-popular Demon Slayer anime. Titled Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles, it got a new story trailer released today that showed off gameplay from the Tsuzumi Mansion arc....
Until Destiny 2’s highly-anticipated Shadowkeep expansion comes out, there’s not much for fans to do except content themselves with the activities available to them until Destiny 2’s Year 3 begins. Bungie has announced that Destiny 2 will be unplayable today for six hours. For UK gamers this will be between 2pm and 8pm BST. The game will be inaccessible during this time as part of the weekly maintenance to the game, and the implementation of new features. One new addition that’ll be coming this week is a special event called Faction Rallies. This’ll begin at 10am BST September 26, and you’ll be able to volunteer for a faction or support one that has the loot you want the most....
Some enterprising guardians have discovered a glitch in the map on Destiny 2’s first raid, Leviathan. My squeaking your way through a gap in some walls you can get outside the normal map, and run around outside, underneath and on top of it. You’ll have to do a lot of careful and creative jumping at a few points, because the outside of the map lacks regular useful things like stairs. But it does mean that you can squirrel around and collect the loot boxes more easily than hauling your tired raiding ass around....

Dinkum is a fun new Animal Crossing-esque game that players get to relax with. This game has players going out into the wild, capturing insects, raising farm animals, and more. In a game as cute as this, it’d be hard to believe that there is nothing to do with photography. Infinity Ward recently released the big Call of Duty: Modern Warfare November update, which adds the fan favorite Gun Game mode to multiplayer playlists, new Spec Ops missions, and more. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War & Warzone‘s Season Four will start on June 17, Activision has announced. The news was marked with a gameplay trailer for the upcoming season shown off during the Summer Game Fest Kickoff Show last night. We’re also promised a full reveal including the Roadmap on Monday, June 14. The trailer reveals the Season will include the return of Hijacked, the multiplayer map based around a super yacht previously featured in Black Ops 2....

The upcoming open-world racer Forza Horizon 4 was first revealed back in June. The developers have not been shy about showing off the game since then. In fact, there are four special livestreams with some of the game’s developers from Playground Games which show off the game to a massive extent, covering the four seasons. Chernobylite developer The Farm 51 is “heartbroken” at current events in Ukraine. Speaking to PressPlayNews, studio creative director Wojciech Pazdur discussed the war, as well as the future of the game. “This war, like any other, is an unnecessary violence which takes lives of innocent people and forces millions to flee and abandon their homes while those who stayed have to fight for their lives during the humanitarian crisis,” he said....
